SCHLUENZ ROCK GALLERY

  • William and Etta Schluenz are pictured in their 50th wedding anniversary portrait on the right of the door.
  • The Alcoa Aluminum plant picture taken in the mid 1950’s is pictured next to the rock case.
  • The rock specimen table was made for the museum by Karl Rader of East Wenatchee.
  • The 4,500 rock and mineral specimens were catalogued in the collection when the museum was built. The Schluenz’s originally housed the collection in their basement. Several people have added to the collection over the years. The original catalog is the brown leather book on the shelf to the left of the Meteorites.
